ABOUT US
The Less Fortunate Still Matter Foundation is a non-profit grassroots organization that was founded in 2012 by Timothy Mosley. We strive to provide services such as food, clothing, house goods, and other necessities to families that are in need. The LFSM foundation is unlike any other foundation or organization simply because we travel the road less traveled, going into low income neighborhoods, the streets, places no other organization wants to go.
Mission Statement:
The Less Fortunate Still Matters (LFSM) Foundation is a ministry that addresses food insecurity & economic barriers within disadvantaged and under-served areas. In addition to meeting spiritual needs, The Less Fortunate Still Matters Foundation develops meaningful relationships through cross-sector partnerships. Our goal is to ensure that those we serve no longer feel hopeless, but leave with a sense of hope after each interaction.
Vision Statement:
The Less Fortunate Still Matters (LFSM) Foundation’s desire is to bridge gaps that are often overlooked. Our approach is a unique, wrap-around approach that brings services to clients, removing the lack of transportation barrier.
Value Statement:
The foundation team is made up of men and women who aim to help those in need. This foundation is a task force motivated by genuine love with a mission to address hopelessness. The Less Fortunate Still Matters outreach teams drive to areas where people are often under-served and forgotten. In an effort to develop relationships with them, we not only offer them resources and supplies, we provide them with a compassionate and listening ear.
“For I was hungred, and ye gave me meat; I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me in; Naked, and ye clothed me; I was sick, and ye visited me; I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? Or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw thee a stranger, and took thee in? Or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.”
CLEAN WATER
We work to provide people access to clean water for better drinking, proper sanitation and good, healthy hygiene.
EVANGELISM
We also engage people with the truth of God’s Word and to help meet the spiritual needs of people around the world.
EDUCATION
We work to empower people to grow into productive citizens in their local communities through the benefits of education.
CAREER BUILDING
We teach the skills necessary to be self-reliant, financially stable and better able to support and strengthen their communities.

OUR MISSION
Homelessness is not a new problem. The Bible reminds us to care for the needs of the poor. LFSM is a contact for individuals experiencing homelessness and for the community members concerned for them. The foundation team is made up of men and women who aim to help those in need. This foundation, motivated by genuine love, is a task force with a mission to address homelessness.
The Less Fortunate Still Matters outreach teams drive to areas where homeless people congregate, including downtown, local parks, among others, in an effort to develop relationships with them, offer food, water, clothing, hygiene supplies, blankets, transportation assistance, as well as a compassionate ear. In addition, LFSM contributes to meeting the spiritual needs of all people along the hedges and highways throughout the world.
If we are able to provide for one person, if we are able to lighten the burden of one family then our mission has been accomplished. Hardships are a part of this journey we call life, they have no name, gender, or ethnic background. None of us are not so privileged that we deserve all the things that we have, if not for HIS grace where would we be. It’s them today, but it can be you tomorrow.
